Any of the "...in the barn" books are really good. Where are you going for vacation?

Grand Canyon for 3 days and Vegas for 4 days. Thanks for the suggestions, they look pretty cool.

If you're up for a massive journey through the surreal my favorite novel I've ever read is 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. The book is 1157 pages and because of that the plot is so complex I can't really even tell you what the plot is about. It's really something you have to experiance. however I cant tell you that it's written from the perspective of two characters: a writer and an assassin. The story has to do with a cult, alternate dimensions, and some of the best character development that you'll ever see.
Also if you want something about cars and will make you cry your eyes out, "the art of racing in the rain" is absolutely amazing!
